It is better to know

Sink may be made of stainless steel, cast iron, granite, composite, copper etc. these days the stainless steel sinks are most welcomed due to its beautiful appearance, economy, durability and ease of cleaning. The stainless steel sinks features will vary depending on the model for instance, shining models (BA) show little water marks, they are easy to clean but more prone to abrasion wear. Grinding (No.4) steel can also be another choice when buying the stainless steel sink. It has less shine compared to the ones and less prone to abrasion wear. Of another kind we can mention the Linen steel that minimizes the risk of scratches, but the price is higher.
The most important thing about stainless steel sink is its thickness and grade. Usually the sinks with thickness of 5.0 mm or higher are considered as high- quality sinks and are more resistant to pressure and bending. It is also highly recommended that always ask the seller for the 454 grade. It may have higher price, but you can be sure it won’t rust easily.

Kitchen sinks
Perhaps you like many people think that toilet is the most polluted parts of the house and that you pay greater attention to cleanness and hygiene of that, but it may be interesting to know that sometimes the sink can be much dirtier. The left food particles in the sink are ideal food sources for such pathogenic growth. Salmonella & E.Coli are known as deadly bacteria in food. They can infect your food or hands and since the toilet bowls are frequently disinfected and cleaned, very few people would think of disinfecting the sink and they mostly wash it with water.[1]
Sinks, 155 times dirtier than a toilet.
Unlike what most people think, kitchen is one of the main centers of bacterial accumulation at home. The number of bacteria per square inch of dishwashing sinks has been normally estimated 155 times more than the toilet bowls, so you can imagine what is going on in the rest of the kitchen, like tap water, amidst chair cracks, near the trash bags and on the dinner table.
